SCHOLARSHIPS

We are committed to providing premium education opportunities for students and nurturing individual students' interests and talents.  As part of this commitment, the School offers a range of scholarships at differing year levels.

At Chindamanee School English Program we are pleased to offer Academic scholarships for entry into Grade 7 to 10. Performing Arts (Instrumental and Voice) Scholarships and Sports Scholarships are available for entry into Grade 7 to 9.

All scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of the testing, previous school reports and an interview.

WHO CAN APPLY ?

for Academic Scholarship

• CSEP students in Grade 6 and 9 may apply with minimum GPA of 3.00

• Students from other schools in Grades 6 to 9 may apply with at least 3.45 out 4.00 GPA.

• If an applicant had ever join any math- science competitions ,organized by NECTEC, IPST, POSN or universities etc., would be considered firstly

• If an applicant had ever got an award from competitions held in Educational Areas, in province, nationwide or international, may apply directly.

• Applicants need to submit their portfolios during the first interview or exam time.

for Performing Arts and Sports Scholarship

• If an applicant has an extra ordinary talent in one of fields of Art, Music or Sport, may apply directly with portfolio. GPA condition will not be considered as strictly.

• Applicants need to submit their portfolios during the first interview or exam time.

ABOUT EXAMINATION

• Academic Scholarship Test is a 90 minutes multiple-choice test consisting of 90 questions evenly divided into Thai Language, Mathematics and Science.

• There is no penalty for wrong answers.

• Total is 100 points. Questions in Mathematics and Science Parts worth 2 points each and 1 point in Thai Language Part.

HOW TO DECIDE AND SCHOLARSHIP RATES

• While calculating student’s performance, Result of Academic Scholarship Test and GPA will be considered together.

For entry year 2012, Effecting percentages of Academic Scholarship Test and GPA are 85% and 15% respectively.

• Every applicant will be considered individually. (Schools, family conditions, portfolio etc.)

BENEFITS & DURATION OF SCHOLARSHIP

• Scholarship students will not pay Admission fee.

• Tuition fee will be paid based on scholarship rate mentioned above.
• Scholarship will be given for minimum 3 years.

WHEN CAN I APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP ?

• For CSEP students, list of candidates will be announced by Secondary Section and examination date will be announced earlier to students.
• For outside students, they can apply anytime before summer school begins. (for more details, contact with an Information Office or Academic Affair of Secondary Section )
