Chindamanee School English Program welcomes all students from Nursery to Grade 10.

Chindamanee School English Program admits boys and girls of all abilities.

The aim of CSEP is to prepare a comfortable and peaceful environment for the students.

The Kindergarten Section is composed of committed and experienced teachers who are trained to handle and take care of preschool children. Each classroom has two homeroom advisers – a Thai and a foreign teacher with the aid of a Thai assistant teacher. Each class is exposed to a variety of subjects every day to help develop the students to be well-rounded individuals. The Kindergarten Section has adapted a system and a curriculum that is proven to effectively strengthen the students’ moral, social, intellectual and physical development. There is a balance instruction of both Thai and English lessons. The classrooms are also equipped with the modern facilities such as the Active Board and other useful instructional materials.

PROCESS OF APPLICATION:We would like to give the best education to our students, therefore our admission policy based on looking answer to how we assist student and our criteria and student’s criteria whether matching or not.

CSEP reserves the right to refuse admission to students whose educational or physical needs cannot be well served by the school, or to those with references indicating that their enrollment may be detrimental to the school.

1. Application Time

There is no time limitation for applications to Kindergarten Section; however we suggest parents to complete registration process before summer school period or before beginning of an academic year that will help children to adapt their teachers, school, friends and environment.

You may discuss with our teachers about available time to register.

Visiting Schedule: The school is open from Monday to Friday at 8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. and every Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

The Classroom: Each classroom is equipped with a Smart Board which the teachers used for instruction to help build greater interaction between teachers and students

· A copy of Guardian’s Passport or Thai I.D. Card (if different then parents)

· A copy of Thai Residence Registration

· A copy of Applicant’s Passport or Thai I.D. Card

· 4 Pictures- Student (size 1” x 1”)

· Medical certificate

· A medical report detailing the child’s illness or allergy (if there is any) and the physician’s suggestions in dealing with such health problem.

- *Students applying for KG 2 are required to take an entrance examination to determine their academic level which will be the basis for future academic assessments.

Curriculum:

KG.1 students are exposed in a fun learning environment where enjoyable activities and games are integrated in the lessons. They are trained the basics of both Thai and English with a variety of skills enrichment activities for speaking and writing. The curriculum is not merely focused on their academic development but also for the improvement of their skills and talents with their Art, Music and Swimming courses. They also have Educational games which make learning for them interesting and exciting. English, Thai, Life Experience and Math are the core subjects and all the teachers handling these subjects employ effective strategies that help maximize students’ learning.

Age for application:
- 4 years old and above
- *Students applying for KG 2 are required to take an entrance examination to determine their academic level which will be the basis for future academic assessments.


Curriculum:

For KG 2 students, more emphasis is given on their speaking advancement as well as gaining more vocabulary as they participate in the “Word Power” project. They are also expected to be able to communicate with both their Thai and foreign teachers as they are already well-versed with the usual conversations that occur in and out of the classroom. The core subjects are taught well particularly English, Thai, Life Experience and Math. They also get to showcase their talents and physical readiness to take on any challenge in their P.E. classes. They are trained to build more confidence with every meaningful experience they get from their different subject teachers.

Age for application:
- 5 years old and above
- *Students applying for KG 2 are required to take an entrance examination to determine their academic level which will be the basis for future academic assessments.

Curriculum:

KG.3 students will be prepared for more advanced academic challenges. They will be taught to read and write Thai and English. Their communication skills will also be developed as teachers integrate interactive activities in every lesson to help enhance the students’ speaking ability. They will also enjoy a variety of experiences with their Music, Physical Education, Swimming, Educational Games, Cartoon and Computer subjects. There are also outdoor exposures or field trips once every semester to develop students’ understanding of certain concepts that were introduced in their lessons. Discipline is strictly imposed and respect is highly encouraged so that the students will be able to appreciate and embrace the good values as they grow and move up to the next academic level.

6.Summer School

There are 4-four weeks English School after Songkran Holiday during the summer break. The aim of the course is to develop children’s English skills.
